Katherine Chernick Fauvre

Katherine Chernick Fauvre, founder of Katherine Fauvre Consulting and Enneastyle and co-founder of Enneagram Explorations and Fauvre Research, is a personality expert and an internationally recognized author, teacher, trainer, coach, and researcher. Among other things, she is the creator of the Tritype® System and the Instinctual and Tritype® Stackings and Identifications. Katherine’s innovative and groundbreaking work on Tritype® and Instinctual Stackings has made her a thought leader in the Enneagram field. She works with businesses, families, couples, and individuals.

In May 2023, Katherine was inducted into the prestigious Marquis Who’s Who in America Biographical Registry. In August 2023, she was inducted into the International Association of Top Professionals and also awarded the title of the “Top Enneagram Coach of the ” for 2023. In October of 2023, she was honored with another award; the city of Menlo Park awarded her the ” Best Consultant of the Year” for 2023.

Katherine began her study of the Enneagram in 1985. Her research projects began in earnest in 1994, with 3 published in 1995.  Since that time, she has conducted over 23 research studies exploring many facets of the internal experience of the types, including The Enneagram Instinctual Subtypes, InstinctsTritype®, Core Fears, Enneagram and Spirituality, Enneagram and Intimacy, Enneagram Lexicon Usage, Core Energetics, Archetypes, MBTI, Micro Expressions and the Self-image of the 9 Enneagram Types.

She has shared her research findings in a number of publications, including The Enneagram Monthly, Enneagram Circle, The Enneagram Educator, The Image Networker, and The Enneagram Journal. and in various newsletters around the world. In 2012, Katherine's original work with the internal experience of the Enneagram Types, Tritypes®, Instinctual Types, and Subtypes as seen through the lens of the Enneastyle Questionnaire, was outlined in her detailed article, Exploring Enneagram Tritype®: Theory and Practice in the International Enneagram Association's Enneagram Journal.

Katherine is the author of 17 Enneagram products, including Enneastyle: The 9 Languages of Enneagram Type, Enneagram Instinctual Types and Subtypes, TrueType, Enneagram Enneacards Testing Instrument ©2015, The 27 Tritypes® Revealed, and co-creator of the Enneagram Enneacards Testing Instrument ©1995-2003. Her most comprehensive EnneagramTritype®Test is now available. She is co-creator of the Enneagram Professional Intensives and the Enneagram and Spirituality Intensives. She is also co-creator and co-host of the non-profit Wave award-winning television series Types: Your Personality Revealed. She has co-produced 5 TV shows covering diverse topics such as the Enneagram Types and Core Fears, Tritype®, Instinctual Types and a Roundtable of Enneagram Master Teachers. She regularly presents her findings at the International Enneagram Association Conferences and is an invited presenter at the Enneagram Global Summit. Katherine is a former member of the Board of Directors of the International Enneagram Association (IEA). She is an IEA Accredited Professional Teacher with Distinction.  Katherine has had the unique opportunity to study directly with Enneagram Creators Oscar Ichazo and Dr. Claudio Naranjo and is a certified teacher with Palmer-Daniels, Riso-Hudson, and Hurley-Donson. Her diverse background included studying with many of the pioneers in the self-help field along with other Enneagram teachers across the globe, including, Condon, Jaxon-Bear, and Wolinski.

Katherine has been an invited presenter at conferences such as the International Enneagram Association Conferences since 1997. She has conducted professional Enneagram trainings throughout the USA as well as in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Israel, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.    

Prior to her work with the Enneagram, Katherine was an executive manager and regional consultant for Lancome Cosmetics. In 1984, Katherine founded her image consulting business, Reflections Unique, bringing a distinct blend of competencies as an executive manager, trainer, personality expert, color specialist, and designer. With extensive management experience spanning many years in the fashion industry, she skillfully combined these talents and consistently demonstrated creative problem-solving skills that set her apart. She excelled in guiding clients and businesses through complex challenges, whether collaborating with a CEO seeking to instill trust and security within their company, empowering a hesitant HR manager to confront an intimidating attorney, advising legal professionals during the voir dire process, or designing a wardrobe. Her expertise was consistently marked by a strategic and insightful approach, underpinned by her astute understanding of various organizational roles and personality styles, enabling her to provide tailored guidance that extended far beyond traditional consulting services.
